Bayt’s delivery policy applies to orders delivered in Australia and New Zealand.
Within Australia, orders will be posted via Australia Post.
The cost of postage is the responsibility of the customer. Postage costs will be calculated on checkout. If an order is paid for without the postage cost being paid, the order will not be posted until the postage cost has been settled by the customer.
All orders will be sent via registered post with tracking. Once posted, Bayt will issue an update to your order (via email) with the tracking number. You may also receive tracking updates from Australia Post via SMS if you entered a mobile number upon checkout. In such cases, you consent to your mobile number being written on the postage label.
The below timeframes are estimates based on our experience with our chosen postage partner (Australia Post). Delays should be expected due to COVID-19 and these are not within Bayt’s control.
- Within Queensland: 3-5 business days
- Rest of Australia: 6-8 business days
- Within Queensland: 1-2 business days
- Rest of Australia: 2-3 business days
Delivery to PO boxes and Parcel Lockers
Bayt will post to PO boxes and parcel lockers. In the instance where such an address is unreachable, Bayt will contact the customer for an alternative address, which may also attract an additional delivery charge.
Customs, duties and taxes
Bayt is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.)
Bayt is not liable for any products damaged or lost during delivery. If you received your order damaged, please contact Australia Post and quote the tracking number, and please notify Bayt. Please save all packaging material and damaged goods before filing a claim.
International delivery policy
By default, Bayt uses Pack n Send for international deliveries. All such orders are governed by their delivery policies.
Currently, orders are not refundable. At our discretion, Bayt may choose to offer store credit to a customer (limited to the value of the order or part of the order being returned).
